Dock Construction

Here are photos of the dock construction listed on the Handyman Suggestion Page.  Dale’s Marine Construction submitted their bid in a timely manner, won the bid, and completed the dock in four workdays once the permitting was complete.  I was impressed by the crew’s attention to detail and the extra effort they took to align pilings, measure layout accurately, and answer my questions in a congenial manner during the work.  On the 14 foot wide platform at the end, instead of butting cheaper 8 foot planks, they ran 14 foot 2X6s across the entire length.

Dale’s Marine Construction did everything they said they would do and the general manager, Bill Franklin, dropped by frequently to check on the progress.  It was a pleasure to work with them.  I don’t hesitate to recommend these guys if you need a new dock or work done on an existing dock.
